Eco-Field Days: Exchange, Innovation and Agriculture in Practice

There is a lot of talk about agriculture.

At the Öko-Feldtage, the conversation takes place where agriculture actually happens: in the field.

Farmers, researchers, companies and associations meet here not in an exhibition hall or at a conference – but amongst demonstration plots, machinery and trial crops. Exactly where new varieties are grown, technology is tested and practical questions await answers.

The Organic Field Days are a meeting place for the entire value chain of organic farming. The focus is on cropping systems, water, animal husbandry, breeding – and solutions for agriculture under changing climatic conditions.

At the same time, the Field Days are also a place for cross-border exchange: many conventional farmers are taking an increasing interest in organic principles, and many challenges affect both systems equally. The discussion here is not abstract, but takes place right at the edge of the field.

Our aftermovie aims to capture precisely this atmosphere: two days full of encounters, conversations and impressions – and an agricultural sector that is visibly in a state of transition.
